Its basically amazing. One thing to be careful about is thinking that Shift has the same quality output as Union, which from my experiences editing dslr photos on, it does not. For 99% of usecases though, ITS AMAZING!

Like this approach to making filters

Great developer....great apps...truly in the spirit of what makes iOS such an incredible platform. All of their apps are superbly executed. Other developers should take notice of how they have mastered the art. Always awaiting new updates! BRAVO!

This is a blast to play with. Just hit the shuffle button until you find something cool, then tweak it. My favorite part is the color adjustment, I can get some pretty interesting effects with that. Way more control than any other filter app Ive played with. And you can even save your filters for later.

Very inventive and easy to use. I love that I can edit the filters with points. Seems like I can make as many as want! Very cool!!!

This is pretty cool. You can essentially custom create your own filters. They also have tons of premade ones to choose from. Easy to use and super powerful. Must buy.

Makes it easy to add multiple effects to your photo with the filter randomizer. It gives you a good starting point for an edit. You can then tweak the texture and color settings.

From them modern manual controls to the rich at raid filter and backgrounds,its amazing.

The default filters are fine (though they are nothing to write home about). The idea of randomly generated filters sounds great, but in reality and in my personal experience with this app, it does not work very well. About 99% of the randomly generated filters are not usable. If you keep at it, maybe after 50 to 100 tries, you may get something decent, but still not really amazing. Maybe the randomization algorithm needs a little tweaking.

This seems to be my new go to app , since the Snapseed update to add a funky look to my more artistic edits. Fairly easy to use, the tweaking options are endless. Worth the money!

Love the app. Works great, and provides beautiful possibilities with little effort.

Shift is a lot of fun and you can get some pretty cool effects/layers out of it. There are a lot of apps focused on layers and filters and Shift definitely holds its own against all of them.

This app has made photography a lot more fun and creative for me
